Don Cherry's Sports Grill

We stayed at the hotel Friday night and figured it was perfect having a bar downstairs.Worst service I've ever seen took for ever to get drink's and the food wasn't any better.I could understand if it was busy!!!But nobody was in the place.

Absolutely disgusting, do not eat here at all costs.1. I received a coffee mug that had brown stains all over it. I asked the blonde server with shoulder length hair if I could get a new mug, instead she stuck her fingers inside the mug, rubbed it with her fingers, and then said oh it 's just coffee and tea stains and left me with the same stained mug, now with her dirty fingers inside it too. When she returned with the food, I asked again if I could get another mug and then she rolled her eyes, took the mug, but never came back with a new one. I had to ask a different server to finally bring me a mug.2. As we were drinking our coffee, the same blonde server started collecting our water glasses even though we weren 't done our meal. I 'm not sure as to why she felt so rushed to deprive us of water when there were no other customers in the restaurant, I don 't see how they could have a shortage of water glasses.3. We wanted to push our tables closer together to chat since we had a slightly larger group, and the same blonde server yelled at us across the restaurant to not move the tables even though there weren 't any other customers. Even if that is the policy, there are other ways to communicate that instead of yelling unprofessionally.4. The vegetables that were served were not only frozen, but they tasted of freezer burn.Unless you enjoy the excitement and danger of eating expired food with dirty cutlery, and having a young blonde lady yell at you as your background atmospheric music, do not eat here. Don Cherry should be embarrassed for having his name associated to the worst restaurant I 've ever been to, with servers who will treat you disrespectfully if you are a visible minority.

Bartender was more interested in playing with tvs then taking our order. Last time i will ever go here . 25 minutes no drink not even an order. Only 5 of us in the entire resteraunt. Pathetic

Terrible. Upon arrival the place looked closed. All the signs including the open sign are turned off. When you walk in you are greeted by a seat yourself sign. No one acknowledges your arrival as you roam around and pick a table even though the place is a ghost town. There seems to be a lone staff member at the bar in the middle of the restaurant running the whole operation. A few minutes go by and a single page black and white paper photocopy of a menu is delivered to your table with dirty plastic water cups. The server was friendly and did return with other cups. Once the orders were taken it did take a considerable amount of time to receive our food however the worst part about this experience was the low quality food that we received. We ordered the Big Don burger for 18$ and a pepperoni pizza. First of all, there was nothing big about the big don. They advertise a fresh patty but there is no way that was a fresh home made patty. The texture and lack of taste gave it away, this was a cheap frozen patty. The portion of fries was laughable. Presentation 0 points, taste was ordinary at best, service was slow and felt unorganized with one person to run the whole place. This was a huge waste of time and money, we will not return.

I would never recommend this restaurant. 50 bucks for 3 bites of food trying not to be that person. When we told our server she came back with the bill with a 10 discount that we already get paying for the hotel.. the server very sweet though but this place please don’t feel waste your money.
