I recently visited ihop on Lundy's Track on February 26, 2022. I presented my vaccination evidence and government identification (driver's license, health card, and restricted/unrestricted PAL) when I arrived with my five-year-old daughter for breakfast. Unfortunately, I felt like a second-class citizen as the manager seemed unable to comprehend their own vaccine policy displayed on a sign. There was no mention of a QR code requirement, and when I questioned this, the manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional, despite the restaurant being nearly empty with only two other tables occupied. Despite providing proof of vaccination, I was denied entry along with my daughter, who had an injury that required her to wear an aircast. This experience showed me that the management at ihop Lundy's Track lacks a clear understanding of their role in the company and the importance of customer service.
I recently visited IHOP on Lundy's Lane on February 26, 2022. I provided proof of vaccination and multiple government IDs, including my driver's license, health card, and PAL. Despite this, I was treated poorly and denied a table for breakfast with my five-year-old daughter. The manager seemed confused about their own vaccination policy, as there was no mention of a QR code requirement on their posted sign. When I questioned this requirement politely, the manager became rude and dismissive. This behavior was uncalled for, especially since there were only two other tables occupied in the restaurant. Despite providing proof of vaccination and complying with their rules, I was denied entry. It is clear that the management team at IHOP Lundy's Lane needs to better understand their role in the company - which is to run a successful business.
Mixed review...that eats itself is what they expect and was very good. pfanncake, wagging as you think they would. no problem with eating. the problem is the location...part of the comfort inn hotels. the entrance at the front is not very welcoming...the reception...the opposite looks like a storage area...not the best when they first come to the restaurant. the restaurant is dated and looks and feels at. the personal was nice and we felt sure what was good. Eat well (so this is plus), but everything else should be better. no cheap breakfast.
We ordered 2 breakfasts, 2drinks, and a side of toast and the total came to just shy of $65. It was extremely expensive for the little bit of food you get. Staff was not friendly at all. Will not be going back again.
