Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. The oxtail meal came with coleslaw, rice, and beans, while the roti came with coleslaw as well. The order was ready quickly, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
The food here is fantastic! If you want to experience the flavors of the Caribbean, this is the perfect place to visit.
I was met by the lovely woman with a smile, greeted with good conversation and a warming invitation. She made me feel like I was in my own grandmother's kitchen. She told me my food would take minutes and I was perfectly okay with...that because I knew it would be good. minutes later she brought our beef patties on a platter along with our jerk chicken, rice and coleslaw. The chicken was fall of the bone AMAZING. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Thank you so much. I hope to visit you soon. Winston
This little gem of a restaurant is as authentic as it is delicious--So family-friendly despite their family of staff.... or staff of family. We met Shariah at the counter behind which she crafted fresh juices for a customer. She seated us at our choice and...greeted us. We were just at the hour of the end of the breakfast buffet. She honored us nonetheless and we had all you can eat ackee and saltfish, breadfruit, callaloo, fried and boiled dumplings, fried plantains and a side order of delicious rice and peas. My Jamaican mother would've been proud and made to feel at home. Her sister Sharika came out with many rounds of food and was tirelessly cooking in back with mom. We ended up talking with her about her work in culinary arts school and her ambitions with learning confectionery baking and the like. Overall we love Kool Katt's
Decided to write my review now as I’ve been at this restaurant since ordered a small jerk ckn, patties and a veggie roti and still waiting .... kids fell asleep and woke up and yet we still waiting ... don’t even care how...the food taste at this point but I’ll NEVER COME HERE AGAIN at this point my food should be free ... anyhow lesson learnt....place was busy with only one server, I noticed customers coming in to ask for cutlery as none was given ....I’ve never been to a Jamaican restaurant that don’t have some main dishes pre-made and I don’t care how fresh nothing should take this long ....still waiting, so don’t waste your time go someplace else, at this point McDonalds would suffice but my husband is inside waiting it out then we have to drive back to Toronto so worst decision we’ve made all weekend- save yourself the hassle, no food is worth this kinda wait.
