The strip-loin steak was huge and delicious. The sauce for the Fritten was a good game. We got a surprise dessert from the house, Mocha espresso ice cream coated with whipped cream, it was so rich in taste.
The food is great. My husband loved his Tenderloin Steak. I had Mushroom Raviolli and loved our Baked Alaska for my birthday. It only took so long to serve us. We're almost gone. We waited and served 30 minutes. I have annoyed that there were only a few servers. The view is beautiful. Fireworks in the evening was nice food is expensive and wait that this long is not worth the experience. I suggest checking elsewhere.
Dining on the 10th floor of the Crowne Plaza. Pleasant setting and worth the view alone. Dining experience was remarkable. This place ranks up there in quality with some of the big name steak houses. If you're in the falls area, book a table and be surprisingly impressed.
Disappointing for the cost. You can get a much better bang for your buck at surrounding restaurants. We started with the calamari, it seemed as though you were playing the lottery while eating it some pieces were juicy and delicious and some really missed the mark and were hard and chewy. When we finally were able to speak with our server about how inconsistent it had been we had finished the majority (we were famished) and he made a comment about how we had eaten most of it and generally ignored the complaint all together without trying to make our experience any better. We then moved to our two entrees a us prime steak which was delicious and a bolognese which was about average and nothing to call home about. Our server Michael seemed to be engaged at the beginning of our dining experience but seemed to lose interest in our table. As the restaurant became busier it seemed that Michael was the only server and that he was splitting his focus between maybe around 7-8 tables which is not what I would expect for such an upscale restaurant. The menu was also quite obscure as sides were not included with the steak or any other entree and had to be purchased separately for a minimum of 15$ (15$ for French fries). Overall we were looking to have an upscale dinner for our vacation and prime steak house seemed like a good option as we were staying in the hotel it was located in but the service and food felt like something that may have come out of somewhere like the keg and not somewhere as upscale as where we were eating. Would have been 3 or 4 stars if something had been done about the calamari or it it even seemed like they cared about our dining experience.
Come back to the anniversary next year! waiters and service were very amazing. Friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious as well as the wine! If you have Rowen as waiter (apologies for spelling) you are on a leak and a good time! If I could rate 10 out of 5, I would
