Spicy Olive Bar and Grill

Our third visit once again had us enjoying the pasta as well as the setting. Not too busy a place and good service has us recommending it again. A shared app, mains and a drink each was $65.00 + tip! Nice too that it's just off the busy Clifton Hill.

We stopped here for an early dinner on Canada Day, just about two hours before most people started to line up everywhere for food. The place was still quiet and inviting. I ordered one of my favourite dishes - fried calamari, my husband had a light Cesar salad. No complaints. We enjoyed sitting by the street's opening, in the fresh freeze. The waitress was nice and discreet. Everything was just right!

We were looking to eat in a place off the main drag that wasn't one of the big chain restaurants and this place fit the bill. When we walked by, the open street front of the restaurant along with the advertised pasta special lured us in. Hadn't read any reviews prior to eating here. Menu options looked good and reasonably priced. Hubby had the arrabiata pasta special and I had mussels appetizer as my main course after splitting the calamari. Not wowed by anything we ate but it was good. Everything arrived quickly and on time, server was helpful and pleasant.Would we go back? Maybe, to give the pizzas a try given the other reviews I've read now.

We discovered this restaurant last year when we were in Niagara Falls for our anniversary. We went back again this weekend again for our anniversary. Once again the pizza was incredible. Best pizza that we've ever had except for Las Vegas. We will look forward to going back. Hopefully sooner than next year
