The Hare Wine Co. - Niagara-on-the-Lake

My partner and I visited this restaurant for a wine tasting and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was welcoming and the wine was delicious. Our sommelier provided us with great explanations for each wine we tasted. We would definitely come back here again.

Lovely winery! We stopped here on a wine tour and had a wonderful time. Adrian and the owner John provided excellent service. Definitely a must-visit!

2 visit here, first for an adhoc tasting before 2 weeks, where we learned that, in contrast to many other wineries, this weingut dog is friendly. we returned a weekend later with our pup for a glass on the back terrace and the charcuterie board. the owner, john hare, greeted our pup with a dogebiskuit and a few beaks. fantastic kellerei, great people, delicious weine and a great place to stop on the way in or from the inner city notl.

This weekend had an amazing tasting at the hare. we were served by adrien, who taught us a lot about the white, sparkling, red and ice wines we tried. all were delicious. the owner, john came for a chat and informed us about the history of the country and the barrels used to make the feature wall that was stunning. can't say enough great things about this place. they went out of that to make us a special and welcome feeling. they even converted me like chardonnay (which I usually don't like)An incredible experience overall and will recommend to the hare to all my friends and family!

This place is a dream! We ended up at the winery not intentionally and we had the best experience. Beautiful and comfortable, they have charcuterie board and a variety of great red, white, rose and ice wine. We had the pleasure of meeting John, the owner. He brought us the most juicy peach ? for us to try and was so polite and sweet to everyone around. We are absolutely recommending The Hare Wine Co. and for sure coming back!
