We stopped for a few drinks and some food. Great atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. Great value for money.

We stopped for lunch and had a really great burger and beer! The waitresses were helpful and friendly... cute place! The fries were a bit limp... not crispy like we like, but overall a really great lunch.

We were four for lunch one day and supper the other. Servings are generous and well made. Service is good, beer and wine selections OK and all of us enjoyed what we ordered. Sharing is easy and not charged extra for.

This place is good value for money, food is great, drink selection is good, the owners and servers super friendly.. top notch. ????????

After the theatre our group fancied at drink and snack while chatting about the play we'd seen at the Festival Theatre. Only place open at 10:30pm was the Angel. Draught beer was good and apps were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was busy and welcoming. If we lived in NotL I feel it would become my local..enough said.
