Contribuisci feedbackEACH year we visit this lunchtime restaurant and every visit, encourages us to return again and again, only open for lunch. But food and friendy service is remarkable.
Typical bar/restaurant in the old town in a very crowded street near the fish market. Closed in the evening and on Sundays. Lunch requires reservation and is done mainly in 2 shifts (around noon and and hour/hour and half later). Very simple menue with daily "plat du jour" (dish of the day). Typical plates of Nice are served. Very friendly staff, good food and nice athmosphere. Many people from Nice among the guests. More a blue-collar place than a white-collar area but very typical. We just loved it!!
Good value for money and really popular among local people. If you're into a French Lunch just stop in here. Service is not extraordinary nor is the food, but still ... worth to try.
Mostly locals visiting it, the staff is friendly. Amazing, traditional french food at a more than affordable price.
Within the Old City, hidden between boutiques and food stores, this little rustic restaurant opened only for lunch and always crowded (booking a table is mandatory) is probably the last surviving authentic bistrot of Nice. Enjoy the simple, rustic and tasteful food that attracts so many local clients. We tasted the excellent beignets de aubergine, a generous portion of red mullet fillets with olives and tomato sauce (delicious), creme caramel and cheese plates as desserts. Warm and friendly atmosphere, good food and nice wines for a very low price
