Casa Della Piadina - Nice

Went in on an afternoon to get a much-recommended piadina. I can 't recall what the particular piadina I had was, but it was very good, except the meat was extremely hard and difficult to bite off without ruining the whole thing. I liked it a...lot, though, as well as the prices, so my friends and I went the morning after right before our train to Paris to get some food for the ride. We arrived at 11:05, having been persuaded by the misleading sign on the door that the opening hour was 11 am sharp. The ladies behind the counter told us to please come back at 11:30. This was vexing, as our train would leave at noon. However, we had so few choices we just waited and came back. This time, I got a Piadina with greens, gorgonzola, and spicy Italian sausage. God, it was GOOOOOD. I wish I had gotten three. I also had a nutella-and-coconut-crisps piadina for dessert, which was also very good, though nowhere in the vicinity of the savory one. Our food was very cheap (for about 25 euros grand total, the three of us got each a savory piadina, dessert, and a bottle of water that the ladies packed us). I wish I had a place like this at home. The first one I had was a bit disappointing, but the second was pure glory. They would be a we open when we say we open away from five stars.

If you had been surprised to see how much eating anything excepts baguettes and sandwiches costs in Nice, then you must visit Casa della Piadina to change your opinion. The quality of the food served (salty and sweet piadinas it's really noticeable, the owners, two...italian girls, are very friendly, and the prices are very good (4-6€ . If you want to eat something nice without spending too much you must take a look over there.

Really nice, really fresh.. not expensive. i had number 17. that was recommended. i'm sure the other piadinas r just as nice

This is no doubt the best place to eat Piadina in Nice. Located in the center, and the Italian girls working there Grazia and Giusi are the best!!! Highly Recommended

Les piadinas sont excellentes, un grand choix dans les différentes recettes proposées et des prix abordables. Le restaurant est peu chaleureux, dommage car leur cuisine est très bonne.
