Contribuisci feedbackThe bohemian bistro has just changed direction and is now called the rose of the sands, to Marie. The Mauritian specialties are available and we have fun!
The kitchen is not gastronomic but very correct on the other hand the price is unbeatable and the reception is very pleasant. Thanks.
Nice and welcoming cuisine and affordable
I enjoyed this place before but more recently it has changed hands though with the same name. Bow run by a Sicilian and his Moroccan wife, the cuisine has changed style and is much more Italian, but even better value. Serving lunch and dinner too, there is a fixed menu for 9.50€ that includes a drink (glass of wine, beer, soft drink, bottle of water), an entree of cold meats or mixed salad and a choice of 8 or so main courses. This is a very handy place to have lunch after visiting Liberation market, so I go quite often.
Recently opened, this cosy little restaurant is tucked a few metres down a little side street off from the main Tramway that runs through the market at Liberation. Perfect for lunch after shopping at the market, it offers a simple but excellent menu of cheap but well presented and good meals. The decor is tasteful elegant, with subtle oriental undertones.
