Tucked down a side alley by the Caisse d'Epargne, it is easily missed, which is why there seems to have been a turnover of restaurants here in the past couple of years. I hope that this is here to stay though, as the menu of Mauritius recipes looks very good and I want to try them all! Most mains are at 10€ and for 14€ there's a menu with starter, main and coffee. I had a chicken curry cooked in coconut with rice. The chicken was melt in the mouth and the portion size generous. It is open seven days a week (even Monday, when the market is not running) from 10am until 3pm, so not for dinner.
A discovery that could become a culinary habit! The photo is that of grilled chicken (the portion is very generous with 3 times more chicken served than there is on my plate! , with accompaniment rice and leaped vegetables. Their alocco is excellent... And the bissap... (nothing for him I will return!!! Attention to the reviews, some refer to a kebab restaurant that has nothing to do with this restaurant in Nice. Lovers of African cuisine, it is to try!!!
Excellent reception! A restaurant hangs a little in a hidden street but it is worth discovering the detour. The dishes are good and the ratio quality price very interesting. Well done for this neighborhood restaurant, we'll be back!
The gentleman is very welcoming and especially the red thieboudienne is very good, an African restaurant for all super I recommend
The dishes are delicious! special mention to the grilled dorade, incredible sauces, swollen. only the bissap has a little disappointed (too sweet. The boss is so sweet. However, the hygiene of the restaurant would deserve a little more attention (rooms/tables, dishes
