We sat outside and had a most enjoyable evening. We began with galettes one with ham, cheese and mushrooms and one with ratatouille and salad. We then had crepes – with caramelised apple and almond butter cream for me and flambeed with Grand Marnier for my husband. It was hard to choose from the extensive menu. The food was delicious, the service very friendly and efficient and the whole evening a delightful experience, so much so that we returned the following evening. This time we sat inside to experience the ‘His Master’s Voice’ décor and better hear the music of the era. My husband tried the prawns which were very large and cooked perfectly.
Went with my family today and ordered a salty crepe. The crepe came with a mixture of old spinach that tasted like rotten. I was not able to eat it and when we respectfully told the waiter that the spinach seemed to be old he laughed at us and left the table. Horrible service and even worse food. Spare your time and money and go somewhere else!
We wanted a crepe, so we got one here. A complet nice and simple and just as we like it. Perfectly cooked. Fast service too. Inside is decorated with records and gramophones as the restuarant name would suggest.
Came for dinner in late August. La voice offers a wide selection of galettes and crêpes ranging from the traditional to some more adventurous specialties. Service was attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. Nice selection of wines at reasonable prices and crispy cider that is served in white ceramic bowls.
