Eating was definitely a good experience. The food was fresh and filled. Enjoy the ginger dressing on the salad, had grilled chicken with sauce, sesame chicken with an excellent orange sauce and the tempura cheesecake was also good. All in all .. their Bento Box Lunch are also a good value.
I chased a sushi roll and was randomly in the Blue Water Bay neighborhood and I saw Sake! You have a complete selection of sushi rolls, hibachi and even some Chinese dishes to choose from. You also have delicious desserts. I tried the thunder roll, which a crispy crunch together with some delicious dauces artfully over the roll and on the plate drizzed. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, just like in Japan. The taste was amazing and fresh. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The service was fast and friendly and very intentionally a few minutes after the order they came back to refresh my hot tea and gave me an update to my order. After they brought my food, they came back to see how I did it and whether everything was good. They even brought me a free piece of cake that was a new dessert piece they tried. It was so amazing! The sushi cook itself stopped at my table to see if I enjoyed the excitement. I really felt like the staff at Sake worried about me and wanted to make sure I had the best possible experience. The establishment of the dinning room is a lot of traditional Japanese with vizy stands that offer a little privacy. There are also some larger table that is a little bigger party. You also have the sushi bar. I ordered some sweet and sour pork to go and it came with a side of mourning. The part was plentiful and the quality of the food was acceptable, but the dish itself was simply so uninspired. The pig was baked and deep fried and there were warm red sauce to pour it, that's it. It wasn't bad, but after the sushi roll experience I was immersed, it was very antic-climate. I didn't try the Hibachi articles, but I'll go back the next time. That's when I can resist temptation for another sushi roll! So delicious!
I think they have changed the name in Sake (new owner perhaps? . We have been there since the name change, and every time I am thrilled with the meal. They do not use eggs or milk in their tempoura, so there are many vegan options avocado sushi, sweet potato sushi, asparagus sushi, most entrees can subdue in tofu instead of meat! I had General Tso last time with Tofu and it was so good! So glad to have vegan options in Niceville!
