Strange Colt Brewery - Niceville

This is a fantastic spot with covered outdoor seating. I really enjoyed the mango habanero IPA! Plus, it's dog-friendly, which is a huge bonus!

From the flight of beers we tried, my favorites were the pumpkin ale and winter ale. My friend, who was driving, didn’t sample too much from the flight. While we were there, we chatted with a gentleman who overheard us mentioning we were from Kentucky; he had just visited there himself not long ago. He generously treated us to a full pour of something (I’m not quite sure what it was), and we were very grateful for his kindness. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience at this brewery. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and I would definitely love to return here!

This is one of the smaller breweries in Niceville, and it offers some excellent craft beers. Over the years, I’ve noticed that the service can be inconsistent, which is why I tend to favor the other breweries in the area. However, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a more intimate atmosphere with activities happening throughout the week. Consider joining the Paddock Club to receive a weekly email featuring specials and events.

While in town visiting we dropped in with some friends and sampled some of the items. All were as good or better than expected. Would definitely try it again.

Stopped by one evening for a few beers. Good beers, bigger one the inside then you would think. Server was great, friendly, inviting and knowledgeable about all the beers being served. Kind of quiet the night we were there but I'm sure it has its busy nights. Will stop again.
