Tap House And Lounge - Nicholasville

A few weeks ago, I traveled from Illinois to Nicholasville, KY, where I checked into my hotel for a long workday and some downtime in the area. After a tiring day, I was in search of a cozy bar or pub to relax and enjoy a few beers. That's when I discovered Mama's Tap House. The staff and patrons were incredibly welcoming, and the service was excellent. Despite wearing a Michigan Wolverine sweatshirt, which made it clear I was not a local, I was greeted warmly and even made a few new friends. One standout was Boston Bobby, who truly made my visit memorable. The following night, I planned to meet a friend from Boston who lives in Richmond, KY, but a powerful storm rolled in and knocked out the power. I'll definitely be back to Kentucky next year to reconnect with everyone!

It wasn't my first visit, but it never lets me down. If you've ever been to Milwaukee, you'll find some of the best bars in the area. This place has pool tables, good music, giant Jenga, a spacious back terrace, and of course, Momma (Tish) has a fantastic design layout. They offer a great selection of beer and bourbon. Today's music was FANTASTIC! Thanks to Garrick Howell for the awesome tunes!

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The staff was friendly, and the place was very clean.

Mama's a jewel. We love to come in and drink a drink and arrange on the terrace.
