Beth made our family many cakes, cookies and cupcakes. What is really special for our family is that there are 3 of us who need to eat gluten-free. You really can't say the difference, everything we had from The Sweet Shoppe is absolutely delicious! My son and his wife ordered their wedding cake there and it was nice and delicious! My experience at The Sweet Shoppe was excellent, from the attractiveness of the shop to the huge selection of treats, amazing smells, and customer service is top notch! I definitely recommend The Sweet Shoppe.

Beth from Sweet Shoppe made a 3 tied cake for me, and it turned out beautifully. It looked like, maybe even better than the photo sample I sent her. It tasted so delicious that I exchange a finger in the cake feeding. Perfect moisture, texture and density, yummyst cake I ever eaten. Frosting was heavenly and I could see that I had eaten an entire tub... She worked with me to make an ice-free, nut-free layer for allergy sufferers. Up and beyond, while reasonable prices. Recommend the Sweet Shoppe from Beth for your cake needs!

The sweet shop is AMAZING. Something for everyone, not just cakes. But... the CAKES are the best you ever had! My favorite cake taste is the white chocolate raspberry! I also love the dives and the BLUEBERRY SCONES! You are always great you with a smile and are wonderful to help find / design what you need!! Look at her! You're not sorry!

Beth Ray in the Sweet Shoppe by Beth in Nicholasville, KY is an extremely talented baker. First, she was the cheapest option I found in the Lexington/Nicholasville/Richmond area. Second, she was such a sweet person she could work with. She was ready to meet with me during the busy times and coordinated almost everything by email as I was an extra-city bride. Finally, HER CAKE WAS AMAZING! Everyone was excited about how beautiful it was. People thought the cake cost thousands of dollars. Even my husband, who doesn't really care about any kind of food, dessert or decoration, spoke about the cake for the next week after our wedding. It makes FREE taste tasting, and tasting is not only tiny pieces of cake where you can hardly taste it; they are full cupcakes! It has a small deposit and is flexible in calls and payments. She leads a wonderful bakery and really did an incredible job with our wedding cake!

We had a cake made for our son's baptism. We were referred to the Sweet Shoppe from our friends, who had their wedding cake made by Beth. I've tried many different cakes and bakeries, and this was by far the best tasting cake I've ever had. Nothing even close. We will be returning anytime we need a cake.
