I was not a fan of the turnip, but the kimchi was delicious, and I really liked the rice and soup together. The vibe here is very much that of a food court inside a mall, because that's what it is. There are mall noises, at least two different kinds of music playing from different directions, shoppers walking by. You order, get your food at counter, and bring your tray back to the same counter when you're finished. The cashier at the counter is friendly and polite. Get the goat soup! You'll be glad you did!
I live far from Niles but I always come here whenever I am craving for some soup. They have the best soups I ever had here in the US. I always go for Tendon soup and Short Ribs soup. Always a thumbs up when it comes to taste and I always feel full afterwards. I always see the lady owner at the counter whenever I order so she's a fixture here. Me and my husband thought Assi Plaza closed since Google said it closed permanently. Good thing I did not surrender and googled for this specific restaurant hoping it relocated somewhere else. Lo and behold, they just changed the name from Assi Plaza to Park To Shop and when I called Korean Beef Soup's phone number, somebody answered and it was the owner and they are still open! So off we went again. Imma try the other soups next time I come back. This resto has the best soups I ever had. It doesn't disappoint the palate .
Great service. Wonderful server on my birthday. Hope was very professional and kind.
Best Korean ox tail and knee soup combo. With added probiotic kimchi on the sides . Ox tail soup is a known collagen rich soup and the ine they serve is delish! Service is brisk. You are given a round thingie that alarma when food is ready. Resto is located inside Korean Assi grocery store. Just the regular wiiden table and chair fast food ambience but with the homey comfort food. Can't neat that!
The Korean Beef Soup, aka 'Seoul Ga Ma Sot Sullungtang ', is located inside the Assi supermarket as part of their food court vendors.Their menu offers their popular sullungtang, but they also have other soups, such as Yum So Tang (goat soup), Dak Gom Tang (chicken soup), Kkori Dogani Tang (ox tail and beef tendon soup), Gamja Tang (pork back bone soup), etc.We used to come here often when I was living in the area, and this place is the preferred choice for those who crave for ox tail soup. The soup is slightly creamy and filled with tons of sliced beef and tendons; I usually like my sullungtang a bit more creamier and thicker.A good option for those who are craving for hot broth during the fall/winter seasons.Plenty of parking in the grocery lot.+located inside Assi market+plenty of parking in shared lot
