Following the opening of the restaurant of the hotel the orangery we tested a family lunch. The table was beautifully erect, sober and modern. Special mention to the kindness of Gilles the waiter and the good little dishes prepared by Chef Vincent. We've had fun! We will return with pleasure.

Overall would have to say we were quite satisfied with this hotel. Yes, a little dated but quaint. What I would have thought Hotel California was like! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast has a good selection of foods but the scrambled eggs are best left! Good coffee machine and selection of types. We booked a room with balcony which was good as it was overlooking the pool. The walk to Nimes centre is definitely 15 minutes. A bit tough in high heat. Bus 6 and 7 almost outside hotel to centre for €1.40 single or taxi around €9.50. Trains to Avignon, Arles etc are good and not expensive, around €15 return. Get out and see local villages in Provence.

I liked the hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The pool area is quite nice and pleasant. Two negatives: breakfast is too simple, with low quality pastries and few options. The other issue is the jacuzzi, which is not fully working and lacks finishing in the inside cover.
