Tilgners Smoked Salmon - Ninilchik

We took our freshly caught sockeye salmon to Tanner's for processing and were very impressed by the professionalism of the staff. The quality of the processing and packaging for shipment or travel was outstanding. Additionally, they have a lovely little shop inside where you can buy other items and fish. I highly recommend this place!

I was eager to try Tanner’s Alaskan Seafood because they advertise having the finest Alaskan seafood. The ordering experience was straightforward, and the customer service was pleasant. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the seafood I received. The Alaskan salmon was dry and lacked flavor, the scallops were rubbery and had an off-putting fishy taste, and the shrimp were mushy and bland. Given the price I paid, I expected much better quality and taste. I recommend that Tanner’s Alaskan Seafood either lower their prices or enhance the quality of their seafood to align with their claims. I genuinely hope they can improve in the future.

We are truly thankful to have Tanner's in Ninilchik! They consistently take great care of the fish we bring to them, and we’ve never experienced a single broken seal on our frozen vacuum-packed fish, even after a year in the freezer. They perfectly portion our half-fillets as requested and haven’t charged us extra for storing our fish longer than we intended. Simply the best! We will definitely keep bringing our fish to Tanner's for processing and highly recommend that other locals and visitors do the same!

We weren't able to finish 10 pounds of crab legs, even with five of us! They were absolutely delicious and the largest crab legs I've ever had!

The staff at this restaurant is exceptionally courteous and attentive, demonstrating a high level of skill in their work. You can expect your order to be packaged quickly and professionally. I recently had the chance to go fishing for the first time in Alaska with a friend, and they made the process of taking our catch home incredibly simple. I would absolutely recommend their services!
