The vegetable gyro was okay, not too exciting. They were out of couple of dishes.. Wish they allowed card payments as well.Food: 4/5
Nice place. Gyro was good, meat was tender and the tzatziki sauce was nice. It’s at the farmer’s market so the atmosphere was great with band playing.Food: 5/5
Me and my boyfriend were visiting from out of town and were craving some Greek food. This place seemed promising. But i feel that it's overrated.. very expensive price for okay food. The gyros has too much cheese on them. It was a very basic gyro. And we tried the fried ball things, I forget the name, but for 5 of them the price was not worth it. The taste was horrible and we left feeling regret for spending money here.
TLDR; 10/10 best Greek/gyro spot probably anywhere stateside. And the staff makes you feel like you 're one of their own. I generally don 't trust a high rating with few reviews, but I 've been sleeping on Pithos for 4 years and completely regret it. Our normal spot closed and I relayed this to the woman at the window who, straight dead pan, said how sad. Then she asked me to tell her my thoughts, not a review, she needed her ego stroked and boy did she deserve it to be!!! Got myself a gyro and Greek salad... I don 't know the secret to their gyro meat but Zeus himself blessed it before it ended up in my hands!! And their family tatziki sauce? I 'm usually better with words, I can 't tell you what sets it apart. It 's perfect. It has bite but it 's luxuriously creamy. Not thick, not thin. It 's legit the best I 've ever had anywhere. Same with their dressing on my salad! It 's so perfectly balanced. The flavors are everything you 're looking for, but done RIGHT. They are masters of their craft. Don 't make the same mistake I did. Start here, and keep coming back. The foods amazing, the staff is a joy (I love anyone who starts with let me toot my own horn here and it hands down holds up).
