Both the wait staff and the chefs were very kind, and the food was delicious. In addition to that, I got a cold brew, which was also delicious. I will definitely go back to sample more of the items on their menu.
I stopped here on my lunch break with a friend not to long ago. After ordering our food, we sat down and waited for our names to be called. My friend noticed something on the floor and when we looked closer, we saw multiple maggots wiggling around and going in every direction. My friend told the worker behind the counter to raise awareness to the bugs presence and instead of the employee taking action to rid the bugs, the employee handed my friend a napkin to kill the maggots with her hands. Definitely, not a clean and fun vibe. Unfortunately, we had already paid prior to finding the maggots so when our food was ready, we obviously felt weird about food being prepared in such a maggot friendly environment and threw the food away. We left, feeling very uncomfortable and called to request refunds for our food. We were told only the owner was able to process refunds but not to worry because they will take down our information and we will surely get out refunds shortly. This never happened. We never heard back or got refunded our money. all around horrible experience, don’t go.
The mango muffin was otherworldly! Plus, great music!
The He‘e Roll is sooooo good. It's served like a lobster roll, but with tender octopus chunks. Their salads are super tasty and refreshing.
Very cute and humble little restaurant on Waialae Ave that offers breakfast and lunch. They have an interesting variety with a big emphasis on veggies. I got the soft scramble breakfast Sammie and added avocado and it was good for a lighter breakfast option. I should have ordered it with bacon which would've made it more satisfying but with the addition of avocado plus bacon it costs extra. Also, I'm pretty sure the bread they use is from costco. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if I happen to be in the area than I would try one of their lunch options instead.
