I ended up still tipping an additional 20% because I didn’t want to take my frustration out on the server, but 25% tip at standard breakfast spot is ridiculous. Just pay your servers a fair wage. Probably won’t be coming back again.
The meal was so good, halfway through I was already planning on when we’re coming back. Who would’ve thought that a Fish Egg skillet could be so delicious? The flavors were diverse and harmonious fluffy egg, seared tuna, pickled red onions and cucumbers, furikake, greens, and I’m forgetting what else but it all just worked. My fiancé got the Bibimbop Breakfast Skillet and she went from hangry gonna poke my eyeballs out to a very happy girl in minutes. Kinda pricey but worth it.
My friends and I really enjoyed the food--delicious and had the efficient attention of a young server whose name I failed to get. The only thing that I didn't care for was the loudness of the cafe. One of our friends had come for a visit and we had a lot of catching up to do but it was very difficult to hear above the crowd and the clanging of a bell from the kitchen every few minutes. I would go back when the weather is cooler so we can sit outside.
Awesome food and unique. Great staff. Drink selection is excellent.
The food was exactly what the other reviews described it to be. The moko loco was delicious, French toast is a must and the steak was super tender. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, parking was convenient as well.
