Adequate ok not expensive hotel just a short walk outside la Roche Bernard. They will not let you check in before 3pm. Room a fair size but lacking a little style. Nice looking restaurant bar and patio area. Lunch offers during the week. Fine for a one or two night stay.

We arrived after a long car journey having pre booked. Nice discussion at Reception regarding dinner options as my wife is vegetaria. Given a good choice of options we explored the area on foot. Back at the hotel we changed for dinner and we taken into the dining room. The waitress arrived with a scrappy piece of paper and offered us an omelette. When asked why we couldn 't choose from the menu we had seen previously we were told there was no one to cook. So, we had now been there approx. 2 hours and no one had mentioned that the kitchen was effectively closed. After a rather heated discussion with the manager we were offered a scrappy salad. Overall a ghastly experience and so easily avoided had they had the courtesy to tell us that dinner was not available we would quite happily have eaten elsewhere. Basically a ruinous end to our holiday.

Very beautiful hotel where the calm reigns and beauty of the hotel and the cleanliness of the place is notorious!!! Thank you!!! The little dèj are well copied and very varied!!! It was a treat...We'll come back!!!! Thank you!
