The food was not your typical pre-packaged and reheated fare, but rather delicious, freshly prepared dishes. The Greek yogurt with granola and fresh strawberries was a standout, as were the light and fluffy scrambled eggs and perfectly cooked bacon. My husband raved about the biscuit and gravy, as well as the catfish and hush puppies. Every dish we sampled was delicious and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was incredible. Even if you just stop by for a meal or a drink, you have to see the investment and care put into this place. It truly is amazing and a must-visit for the community. Thank you for sharing this gem with us!
My wife and I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is top-notch, with gluten-free options that my wife can't find elsewhere, and I always enjoy the meat dishes. It has become our go-to spot for double dates, as all of our friends love it too. The homemade recipes, fantastic bar, and friendly service create a fun and unique atmosphere. We can't wait to check out the back patio for live music in the summer and the tiki bar. We are proud to have such a special place in Nixa, just a short drive from our home.
The bar is a great spot to grab a drink, with pinball tables and friendly staff. However, I was a bit disappointed with the dinner. The catfish filets were okay but not amazing, and the tuna was just okay as well. I hope they improve the food quality. I did like the entrance and decor of the restaurant. Locals may support this place, but the food could use some improvement.
Great dinner! I had the ahi tuna and my husband had the filet. We were very impressed. Our server, Denise was amazing too! She was so very attentive and also helped us with recommendations! We also loved the atmosphere.... good for a date night or a night out with the family!
I was looking forward to dining here. Nixa needs a restaurant that serves dinner that isn't burger oriented. I was disappointed. I had the 14 oz. ribeye which was served very thin, very well done. I had ordered medium and it could not have been over 8 oz. They don't know how to cook asparagus. It was tough on the bottom and over done tips. My wife had salmon which was under cooked and the bad asparagus. Our friend had tough under cooked pork chops and a baked potato. The potato was good. The salads were a little lettuce on a small plate with 2 cucumber slices. Disappointing. I have never spent this much money on a dinner and come away hungry. The service was very good but they really need to hire a real cook. Don't go there for the food
