The atmosphere is great for relaxing evening alone or with couple of friends. The menu is pretty extensive and is all around meat dishes. Prices are higher than average in Nizhny Novgorod, however already from interior you may notice that you are in fine dining place. Chateaubriand steak was slightly overdone, even though specifically asked to make it medium rare to the rare side. Maybe that was the reason, that I could rate steak only at 3 stars from 5. However the dessert with sphere, how chocolate and ice cream was fabulous, with 5+. In the end it is a bit mixed feeling I have had better steak for a lower price in Nizhny Novgorod, however the dessert is just something you want to come back for!
Great restaurant with great staff cooking great food on great place. I’ll visit at future again, I’m sure.
Numerous reviews claim it is one of the best restaurants in the city. Well, maybe it is. The food is good. But not at all outstandingly delicious. The design is nice, but pretentious and polite waiters still make you feel you 've entered some incredibly significant place. The menu titles make are also made to impress. It would have been much better if Mitrich had less showing off. The burger of marble beef and a country-style potato were just fine. The prices are close to those of Moscow. I would recommend this place and its food, but don 't have exaggerated expectations please.
As soon as we walked into this restaurant, we could tell that we were in for a special experience. The staff escorted us to our table in the beautifully decorated dining area, where we perused the extensive menu. While the steak options were a bit on the expensive side, the rest of the menu offered reasonable prices. We started our meal with pumpkin soup, salmon tartare, and trout carpaccio, all of which were delicious. For our main course, we ordered veal, beef, and a shrimp salad, all of which were cooked to perfection. The dessert selection was equally impressive, featuring a signature chocolate mousse ball served with hot chocolate, a berry mille feuille that was a delight for the taste buds, and a chocolate honeycomb dessert that was also very good. Overall, we had a fantastic meal at a reasonable price and would highly recommend this restaurant.
Really great steaks and good wine, interesting cousine but sometimes service was not perfect. great lunch, steaks but it's not a cheap place.
