So a shame. visited for my birthday dinner and ordered the veggieburger. there were five of us, four had burger, two veggie and two bark meats and a special of the day. About an hour we waited for the food. When it arrived, we were very disappointed. the veggie burger was a business bought bun, filled with melted cheese, a cut of courgette and a single sheet of lettuce. the chips bought on the side tasty store and frozen, it tasted like the chips I took from the Chinese takeaway in england. I would not normally be too disturbed, but considering that this was more expensive than the meatburger was crazy. in the fleischburger they had a bark patty, cheese, tomato and salate. but somehow that's cheaper? we mentioned this to the owner that we were disappointed with him and the answer was 'they knew what it said on the menu' or along these lines. the shield also says fresh products, but the chips and the rolls were from a wholesaler. we talked with the other two tables on the terrace with us, a table waited an hour for an salat and the other table ended before the meal came because it took so long. we had taken a veggie meal from the bill, but there was no excuse for the bad food or service. we will not go back. it's a shame because it looks so good from the outside. we are living in the opposite, so it does not make our local kitchen.

Really nice restaurant perfect at the river waour. really homemade eating, very friendly service and very reasonable prices. the owner louise is so obliged to give them the best possible experience that they can only love them.

The 9 (yes, nine of us have set up an evening to find the village quite calm. there were some locals who had a drink and another English family with dinner. despite the owner who sits on himself, she took one table, took our orders.
