Gasthof Sonne - Nördlingen

A pleasant location in the town centre near the Cathedral serving mainly German fare, though the menu was quite varied and the food was very nice. The staff were friendly and efficient. The kitchen stopped serving punctually at 14.00 on a Sunday afternoon and several...people were turned away.

We have stopped in Nordlingen for a lunch during our trip along the romantic road and found this restaurant following TripAdvisor recommendation. We have got a warm welcome, good German food and good service. The environment is warm and cozy. We enjoyed our meal and...was happy that we choose this restaurant.

We stayed the night in this hotel, built on 1405 AC. The local was very nice keeping its old character. The staff was very polite and the timing was right.We took a Wiener Schnitzel [18,80] -very good, a small Schweinehaxe [9.80]-I should get the big...one because was very tasty, plus a Frankische Bratwurst [a kind of hotdog] [8,80]-very good, Gutman WeiZen Pils: Prima, and delicious desserts, on the house. Total 48,60 euro. We had a very good sleep and happy stomachs [although I have serious stomach problem]

Fortunately, there was not much going on. 4 service personnel but still it seemed stressful. a poor girl who obviously did work (and always made it with a smile) was screamed by elder staff although she did nothing wrong. eating was okay, but it was clear for all guests - never again.

35 people. it was then served table for table eating. suppe came after the main course. Furthermore, salate were accused, then often came against the end of eating. then my food. should be: pfeffersteak from the angusrinderrückenfilet tenderly roasted on cognac pepper cream sauce, speckbeans, pommes williams and fresh salads.In fact: never filetsteak, but thin long roasted, tough and furtd. sauce was a lot black pampe, cream was probably out. speckbeans had never seen the speck, pommes williams were 2 small raw pale cracks in pear shape. is normally made from croquettes. market fresh salads were never on the table. in a woman at the table, the sweet plate was a full dish with scup noodles, including a maximum of 5% broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, more was not. shameful bad. never to eat again.
