Ordered a take away within. I already had the feeling that things weren't going to turn out well. Waitress speaks no Dutch and half English. Then they lost the receipt. Have more than 45 minutes!! waited for a take away. No indulgence drink for the wait. While we were sitting on the terrace, we saw 3 tables walk away because they were not being served. Management certainly does its best. Small tent and hardworking employees. Sometimes difficult to communicate due to the language barrier. During our visit with 31°, not only the air conditioning was broken, but also the fan inside. This made it unbearable and we wanted to leave as quickly as possible from arrival. Service served the first glass, after which we received the main course. The drink quickly ran out due to the heat, but we were not offered anything again. After asking, after waiting quite some time, it turned out that the waitress had not understood us after all. Even though we really appreciated the service, working hard with these temperatures, it was not a pleasant experience. There were four of us and we ordered different pizzas (salami with mushrooms, small salami, taco, parma). Unfortunately most of the pizzas were dry and seemed to have been in the oven too long. The taco pizza was an interesting idea, but made without love the vegetables were simply placed on top without any love, without salt or herbs. The Parma pizza skimped on the cheese, which compromised the taste. The service was friendly and even brought water for our dog, however the ambience felt more like a diner. Overall, the price performance ratio was disappointing, despite the proximity to the beach. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.
