Cafe Le Monde - Noosaville

We arrived in Noosa and on our first night wandered into Cafe Le Monde. We were greeted straight away in a very friendly and efficient manner by the manager who sat us down and gave us lots of great recommendations for drinks and food. All the food was delicious and we were so pleased that we listened to the waitress' recommendation of the seafood platter and the slow roasted lamb to share. Both sharing platters were excellent. My daughters steak on the kids menu was also really high quality. The best steak we have ever experienced on a kids menu!All the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable and it was clear they were working extremely hard but still with smiles on their faces. I saw our waitress ( the manager)serving several tables at once, all very well. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and hopefully one day we will be back again. ( A great reason to revisit Australia, Noosa and Cafe le Monde!) Thankyou

During our week in Noosa we made Le Monde our morning coffee stop. Liked the atmosphere and friendly staff. We had dinner there on our last night after our morning waiter recommended the 12 hour slow cooked lamb shoulder. It was superb. Expensive at $75 however the meal could have satisfied 3 or 4 people. The lamb was perfectly cooked and served with potatoes roasted in duck fat and a kale and cos lettuce Caesar salad (Kale Caesar!)

We had one of those nights when we didn't want a full meal, we just wanted a light dessert of sorts and Cafe Le Monde delivered the goods! A Coconut Tapioca pudding topped with papaya, passion-fruit, banana and kiwi - oh it was lovely. Martin had Smashed Pavlova which was also light and full of fresh fruit. A Tumeric Latte and Kombucha fix later and we were right for the night. We've been to Cafe Le Monde for the fish tacos, oh they are beautiful, as is the Slow-Cooked Lamb Shoulder for Two served with Rosemary Potatoes and sides plus wine, it's just melt-in-your-mouth delectable. This is a great place for all sorts of food and drink options.

We visited for lunch with our two kids in tow. Staff were so friendly and accommodating as we had a rather large double pram with us. Food was nice and service was great. Colouring pages available for the kids! We will be back!
