La Riviera Bistro - Noosaville

My wife and I took friends for lunch and as usual everything was perfect. Beautiful food - 3 seafood crepes and I lamb dish. Have been to this restaurant many times and cannot fault it. In our top 3 Noosaville restaurants.

Après une belle journée sur Noosa, on décide de manger côté rivière avant de reprendre la route. Quel surprise de tomber sur un restaurant Français, étant expatrié on ce laisse tenter. Tout est à la hauteur de nos attentes, le service est agréable et au petits soins. Et la cuisine, une pure merveille! Quel bonheur de retrouver du pain frais et des produits aussi bien préparer. Petit plus pour la décoration Provencial, merci pour tout.

We ate as a family of 4 and all were impressed with the food here.My wife really enjoyed the onion soup with very cheesy croutons while I found the scallops tremendous.For our mains we tried the Cassoulet and the Orange Duck which are just 2 of the range of classic French dishes available. we finished by 4 of us sharing a Creme Brûlée as we were all fairly full.Each dish was as promised and great with no food disappointments at all. The Cassoulet was tasty with a beautiful thick sauce and plenty of quality ingredients. Duck was tender and tasty and the Brûlée pure and perfect. They also have a good range of wines by the glass so you can pair with each course and even a desert wine.Would definitely return

While visiting Noosaville we decided to take our visitor to La Riviera. We shared the pâté to start then I chose the boulliabase. Yummy fresh seafood in a spicy seafood broth. My husband had the papillon fish when ch get enjoyed and our friend chose cassoulet. I thought the cassoulet was a little dry but overall a great French style lunch with good service despite only one waitress handling many tables efficiently ! Reasonable price for an above average meal.
