What do you get with a view? Often a subdued decor that focuses your attention outdoorsAnd it's common to be sceptical of food with a view.

First time here and what an experienceFood was fantastic, quick and service greatThe party all ordered fish and all were perfect.

Last night we went there with our family including 2 grand children and the setting was great and the service was good .The main concern was the prices were very high compared with other local restaurants , we also think that the. Quality of the food was not as good as it should be considering the prices that you charge .Overall , happy with the service , not so happy about the prices and would we come back ? No we don't think so .

The Noosa Boathouse served us with a beautiful 3 course lunch today that was simply divine. Some of the best Oysters Kilpatrick I have ever tasted as a starter, for our main course we received perfectly cooked New Zealand Salmon with delicious pearl couscous, coriander and smoked yogurt, and to finish a trio of ice cream with strawberries, blueberries and a chocolate sauce with crunchy bits, it was a truly superb lunch. A true 10/10.The venue itself is also a little unusual, as it actually floats on the river, as such, this allowed us uninterrupted views up and down the beautiful Noosa River, really quite stunning and very relaxing.What we ordered today was a lunch special and may not be available for long, however, at $35 dollars per head, including a glass of wine or the equivalent, I think reflected stellar value.As a professional food and business critic, I seldom write reviews for free, however, I felt that the food and service were of such a high standard, I really should let people know about this restaurant.If you do not give this place a try, you really have missed out on a fabulous experience.Great work guys, we will be back.
