Wine Cellar Nopolo

I am surprised that there are complaints under the reviews of the food. We ate there twice, had four different dishes and loved everything we ate. Very good bar menu, of course, but the food was very good and less expensive than most other alternatives in Loreto Bay. They won't be disappointed.

Visited for drinks and dinner at one of the few places to visit Nopolo Loreto Bay. Food was good and service excellent until management participated. After dinner we asked for the drinks menu, as we wanted to know the price of the drinks we ordered before we broke up a big bill. The menu provided has not listed the cost of spirits, tequila or mezcal, so we asked further and the owner who drank at the bar said that drinks were either good or call. A phrase that we have not experienced in our three months of travel around Mexico. We asked for a Smirnoff vodka and a Bacardi rum. These are the most prevelant spirits in all the bars we met. Smirnoff was not available and we were offered Absolute instead. The owner was very dismissed by our requests for the cost of drinks and when we received our final invoice we were calculated for premium spirits. We challenged the bill and it was finally reduced, but only once we threatened to report the bar to Procuradura Federal del consumidor. The attitude of the owners was cruel and we will not be back although it is one of the few bars in the city

An inviting little surprise! The prices are great, the food was good and the staff friendly. We tried the Nachos, Tacos, arecherra burritos and the Pasta Bakery for Entrees. The tacos were pretty bland, but everything else was really good and good portion sizes. We also tried appetizers of bruschetta (basch pico de gallo with parmesan and not our favorite), chicken wings (good taste, but TINY small pieces), and the Spanish meatballs that were SO GOOD. Also the fresh chocolate brownies for dessert were delicious and large pieces. Many wines try to try some not so big locals, but still fun. Location, quality and pricing made this a cornerstone for our stay.

We had an incredible dinner here. Tapas style and sumptuous wine. Try the house Chardonnay it’s lush. Will (owner) was charming and very knowledgable about his wine. Always welcoming with open arms.

I ordered bruschetta but what I got was Pico de Gallo salsa and crackers. The tacos were good, it seems like all the mexican options at the place were good but the other things were not, the Chef owner needs to find their identity...and stick with it, dont try to do too much.
