My photos were not super pretty (my apologies) but the food is delicious! I recommend arrival as soon as they open because waiting times can be steep from 40 minutes to over 1 hour. If you don't starve, don't worry. Also you are hard pressed to find a breakfast dinner that has good food AND strong coffee, but they do it! Next time, I order the Dutch baby and report back. For now I enjoy the thickly cut bacon and eggs, and I have fought the pancakes for the almond French toast and the bowls (not shown at my 2nd visit), the crepes with lemon, butter and powered sugar are *Koch Kus*
We decided to go to the Koroneberg Renaissance Faire and first stopped at the OPH in Norco. We had about an hour on our way up. If you go to the site, you can add to the Waitlist. I have no regrets. I ordered sausages and eggs with one side of potatoes and one side of bacon the best) and I replaced the pancakes for a Belgian waffle. My husband had bacon and eggs and substituted sourdough pancakes for regular buttermilk pancakes. There is a fee for substitutions. We only had water. My waffle was nice and fluffy and you have a lot of butter. The potatoes were slightly seasoned and crispy. My husband enjoyed his sour pancakes. I didn't have to tell them we all brought a cooler with us in the car) The bacon was beautiful and smokey. Would we come back?
Nice place, but very expensive. It wasn't worth doing the replacement of a waffle instead of pancakes. Think it might be about $3 more the most it was almost $9. $3 less than what the waffle costs from itself, and ask for bananas to coat me $3 more. Very expensive waffle. The taste of my food was okay. Our waitress was nice, but hard to find when we needed things. I wouldn't think the place was all that. Not sure I'm coming back to visit.
Great food, concentrated on breakfast. Friendly staff. The prices correspond to the large portions. Thick bacon was perfect crunchy but soft in the middle, perfection! Very big menu! The omelet had so much cheese, almost too much for me personally. But I'm sure others would love it. The only strange thing is for the charging of special pancakes that they do not say in the menu, nor say in person. $6.50 for strawberry pancake upgrades, but they only have 3 strawberries and scab of Whip cream from standard pancakes I would have received anyway.
This place was amazing! A little pricey but honestly worth it. Service was great and everything is made fresh...don't wait till your starving to go because it does take around 20-30 minutes to get your food.
