Arriving on time by train, you have about an hour until the ferry leaves for Norderney. Of course there is also a small restaurant here to pass the time. Unfortunately, the staff was a bit unfriendly and gave instructions regarding my luggage that I didn't understand. We decided on the waffle. Unfortunately it tasted like it was two days old dry, hard, no taste and of course at an overpriced price (logically due to the lack of alternatives locally). The ambience is quite good, but unfortunately it can't make up for the other points.

The pier is a good place to bridge the waiting for the ferry or the train. Outside there are places with lake view. But even inside it is cozy. Delicious cakes and coffee are offered here. Also for small hunger is provided with self-made soups and flame cake. The staff is very friendly. We like to come back!

We took a stop at the pier in northern dike with the family yesterday and enjoyed a time of our holiday in the sun. Outside in the beach basket it was very cozy, the all-round staff was exemplary and has taken into account every desire of our order for children to enjoy. Thank you.
