Strand 33 - Norddorf auf Amrum

Since we have been visiting the beach 33 for many years on our Amrum holiday, we can only mention praiseworthy things here. Outside and inside you sit very comfortable and good. The service is always very courteous, polite and attentive. The food has always been very good over all these years and very tasty. The daily meals are also highly recommended. There is a very large selection of drinks, also from very excellent different wines. We always feel very comfortable in the beach 33.

Leider waren wir wieder sehr enttäuscht von der Qualität des Essen. Die Lage ist toll, das Personal wirklich fix und freundlich und das Essen wird in Windeseile serviert. Die Karte und der angeschlossene Wein- und Ginhandel zeigen, dass der Wirt mit Pfiff, Niveau und Genuss sein Lokal betreiben möchte. Vielleicht ist es der Hochsaison geschuldet und dem eigenen Anspruch die Gäste ohne lange Wartezeit zu bedienen, aber das geht massiv zu Lasten der Qualität. Und das fällt besonders mach einem Besuch des Torhaus in Nebel auf.Unser Panfleisch war mehr als trocken, schlicht zu Tode gebraten - ich vermute es war am Nachmittag vorbereitet. Der Spinat aus der Tüte (ist er halt), aber ohne Geschmack und Würze.Das Kinderschnitzel ein Fertiggericht auf Imbissniveau... Das haben wir am Vortag woanders ganz anders erlebt.Die Preise entsprechen der Lage und der damit verbundene Nachfrage - das ist OK, aber bitte: Das Niveau der Speisen muss den Preisen entsprechen. Dann dauert es eben länger.Ich weiß, der Koch kann auch anders. Würde ich gerne mal wieder sehen.
