The prices are already high for the food on offer. Limited menu for New Year's Eve, without vegetarian dishes, without prior notice. The salad from the starters costing just under €16.00 consisted mainly of cucumbers and tomatoes and was dressed with too much vinegar. Apart from the gyros being too dry, the meat dishes were on point and really good. The service was friendly and attentive, good 4 stars The ambience was OK, not bad, but it's hardly good enough, so 3 stars. All in all OK, which means 3 stars. I came here with friends on a busy Saturday evening. The staff was overworked but coped well. The food was not bad (except for the sloppy rice) but lacked that certain Mediterranean twang. Prices are a bit on the high side, but then that is...to be expected in Norderney ....
