Then I had to refuel stoically my father replied, so he probably knew where to go. All too long our journey was not, instead of going to Meppen or Lingen this time it went to Nordhorn, which is for the average Emsland but already a felt world journey. And in the middle of the Nordhorn city park, which borders directly to the pedestrian zone in the city centre, is located in a small, at first glance a little wind-slope cottage the Café Kaffeemühle . The city park is pretty, there are ancient carnival trees, at the beginning of the spring the first flowers bloomed and there was a lot of going on. Family excursions, playing children, couples of pensioners who take a short break on the park benches. All in all, I liked a pretty idyll. Parking is unfortunately not nearby so that we were 15 20 minutes walk, which can be exhausting for people who are no longer on foot. To reach a nearby parking lot, we would have had to drive by car about 25 meters through the pedestrian zone, which all the other drivers before and after us also did my daddy persistently refused. These are laws and they have to adhere to! he always says, with which he is right in principle, but in such situations I can only touch my head and I am glad that as far as the subject is concerned, I probably come to my mother. Quite out of the powder we had one of only two free tables in the outside area, the café was very well visited. No wonder on a Sunday afternoon with weather to testify to the hero. So sympathetic and cozy I find the cafe purely visually small, muggling, it makes something already! But I didn't feel so well from the beginning. There were not enough pillows for the simple chairs with wooden seat, so that the stern started to pain properly with time. Besides, my chair wobbled extremely (the table as well) and that makes me crazy. After half an hour, I was lucky to be able to exchange the chair when the guests went to the side table, I was very happy about it. The outside seat area or our places in it were generally nothing for me. Extremely tight, I had to sit half in the passage for the service ladies, because my mother could not escape further, without inevitably tilting back with chair into a lush flowerbed. Nobody wants that. This is how I managed to get a decent Rempler one or two times, thanks to the Jonglier skill of the employees, but at least neither hot coffee nor mandarin cake landed in my neck. And the girls can now also at least do it, somewhere they have to run longitudinally. This is a challenge for days with a lot of audiences. When we wanted to order, there was the next surprise. Go inside and see what you like! Aha... I noticed that there were no cards on the tables before and negatively. I don't understand. As a guest, I like to know what choice I have and what it costs me. And I really don't want to look for long or ask about it. I have a laminated DinA4 sheet on the table, it can't be so hard... All right, let's go to the café. The interior I found super, very angled, much wood paved, very cozy! Also here almost all tables occupied. In a small counter there were self-baked cakes and cakes to see. For me unfortunately nix, as I eat with cream and fruit in the tortoise area at most what with marzipan or on high holidays. Here the main focus was on sprout cake and fruit soil with gelatine over it and with both you can hunt me. Too bad, I'd like to eat something. Maybe what I'd like to take was already sold out. My parents were very happy with their cakes. And the coffee first... I'd like to have had a cherry choir, but after I didn't find any cards, it was too stupid to ask if there were these. Then I ordered a simple apple choir. But on Sunday I probably pulled the ass card. The apple choir was a glass of mineral water where an apple was passed a few times. Fruit taste almost zero... On the way out of the café, I discovered a menu in a metal box that was hard to corrode. Hardly readable. And now? As good as my parents like it here, my first visit was a pure fall. I hope the next one gets better and then likes to get up!
Breakfast is great. The buffet is full and all hot drinks are included. The perfect value for money
