I write my restaurant reviews based on experience for money based on eating, service and ambiente. based on food quality, this restaurant should get or maybe....read. our hotel had made reservations for us adult) one day before our dinner. when I entered, I got a small table in a row of small tables next to each other. it is not what they want for a free-flowing discussion. I asked for other tables, but was said that they were all taken as we had only made the reservation on pm (.I had no choice than to take the table on the wall near the door. it meant to eat dinner in a jacket as the cold design was unbearable. a euro hole curtain could fix this and it confused the understanding that it is not done. we quickly noticed that all desirable tables were taken by guests who were greeted with a kiss. really a neighboring restaurant with us as a stranger. we have an unenchanted service while the others were treated as family. we ordered appetizers for sharing, but no extra silver ware or additional plate was provided for exchange. we order two main courses and it took one for them to come. eating was solid, not exceptional, but solid. we tried the weeping recommendation from the open weeping, in the hope to order a bottle, but we did not like it too much. the answer when I asked to try other open weeping: then order any other bottle, although they are other open weeping on the weeping list. In the meantime, a bottle of white wine has been served to our neighbours. it came open, but they had actually ordered a red. the reaction? they took the bottle away, not even thinking that we are trying to see if we would buy it. oh, good. overall, the prices are appropriate for what they come to that when they can get a table far from this door, because the draft will kill them in winter. expect them to be tolerated in a family event.

Great atmosphere - amazing eating. found this hike in düsseldorf with travel advisor yesterday had the most amazing starter-saving parmashinken uber bake. so good. came back tonight with some friends because we liked it so much! even better than last night! great! jim.

For a businessman I had the pleasure to try this restaurant. I love eating the Mediterranean and every time I traveled, I try to find this kind of food. the description for eating and the service we have received at devona has...with a minimum of excellent rating! it is a cozy and small restaurant that is run by the owners who feel them fast as if they eat at a close friend place. eating was great and her wee was the perfect companion for our dishes. do not miss the Italian expresso after eating!

As others have written, this place gives them authentic Italian cuisine that feels like being cooked in someone's home. I could lie and say they're all wrong, and I should, as that would keep this great place secret. but that would not be fair for them, because this is the best restaurant not only Italian in düsseldorf. the whole food is prepared by hand in a small kitchen, often by the owner, and his wife is simply enchanting.

I've been here times in the course of a week now. All with different people. It's simple outstanding! The Tortelinni with fresh truffles is out of this world. I ordered it every single time. For steaks, the best steak I've had in Europe was...here. The Rumpsteak Devona and even the steak in the pasta are very good pieces of meat, not tough at all and very good flavor. The one thing I'd pass on here is the dessert (I've only tried the Chocolate Souffl Since I've made chocolate souffl before, I really wasn't impressed, especially since it was so dry it tasted like cake.
