If you read other reports about Fritz’s wife Franzi, you can quickly conclude not having had the optimum on the plates this afternoon. This also fits a reaction from the chef to a Google review (always four out of five stars to the lunch break menu). There he escapes the criticism of "less surprises" to cook, which is also "the last sophistication miss" with a bad comparison: "The lunch is, so says our chef, "the trailer to the cinema" (sic!). Who is looking at a movie if the trailer was not (completely convincing? Why do you want to get more if the food isn't bad, but isn't it? Once again I leave a restaurant with more questions than I get. I will certainly not use another trailer here anymore. The name alone is the Knaller. How do you get such a brilliant word combination? We were there last night and it was one of the evenings where everything was right. Best place with great views to the kitchen, very tasty and beautifully arranged food, friendly and attentive service and a great wine. Rightly 1 Michelin star and 5 of us.
Excellent, high quality restaurant. The individual dishes are a taste experience. We had the 5 courses menu, all courses were excellent. The only drop of wormwood was the price for the truffle. This is offered as an option for the court. If the addition is not interrupted in a timely manner, the price of the gear is multiplied quickly. Here, portion sizes would be appropriate to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Guys, you've got to do this! And if possible, make sure one of the places overlooking the kitchen it is really a pleasure to watch Benny and Sven's team while working and dressing and to experience LIVE how many handles and meticulous work are stuck in each plate.
Both the food on site as well as for picking up and preparing itself (corona condition) is above all one: leak. I like the combination of modern, creative and German cuisine. Maybe some components like the German Kimchi are somewhat uninhabited, but for such experiences I go to restaurants a normal steak could also eat at home. The star is deserved, no question at all. The price performance ratio also fits. Go on!
