Anyone who checks at an Intercity Hotel should know that he does not expect a design hotel here. That's the case with me, too. The Tristesse won you very much. The room is tiny, the design depressing and dark. Just a classic business hotel where business travellers wonder why I do it all. But stop. Especially the positive. The service is very friendly, breakfast is standard but rich, the rooms are very clean, there is a large shower with door so that the bathroom does not float after showering. Free rare and good Wi-Fi. Conversely, there is an uncomfortable bed, no bar-only a beverage machine, heating whore if you are ready to the fans of air conditioning all night. For a night okay, it shouldn't be any longer.
The InterCityHotel is located in the heart of Düsseldorf, between the train station (300m) and the famous KÖ. The 146 bright and friendly rooms are equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable TV, telephone, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror. The hotel offers a restaurant with a terrace, a bar and a conservatory. A parking lot is nearby. Public transport (VRR) is free of charge as a hotel guest.
A simple restaurant that does the job if you are in the area of the Central Station. Nothing special. It is well located if for example you are staying at the Best Western Hotel, which doesn't have a restaurant.
For the location good price. the part in such chains is always the cleanliness. therefore I prefer small family-run houses
