This restaurant is not big. we ordered a few appetizers and each of us had a main dish. my halibut fish is ok, not the best I have eaten, but also not the worst.
We were a big group, so had a mix of appetizers to share and really enjoyed the garnels were really fresh and the goat cheese tart was delicious. followed by the pig bell for the main course. the staff was very attentive and friendly. I would. willing to go back if I'm ever back in düsseldorf.
We have set up here in a busy Saturday night without reservation. we were lucky to get a table pretty fast. the room is very nice with a demanding amount of mainly local. I'm creepy with my choice, but the owner was great and. let me taste the most red they serve from the glass. the mussels stars were some of the best I ate and I ate a lot! all the courses were great and they even made my wife a cream brûlée even after they had run out. excellent place to eat if they want a modern kitchen in a beautiful environment very well cooked.
We ended up in Parlin by accident. Our hotel recommended the Italian next door, but that did not appeal to us and other hotelguests. Parlin has a nice atmosphere with an attractive old house style. The menu has a good variety for foodies. Every plate...looked very tasteful. The wineselection is extensive as they are not only a restaurant but also a weinbar. This place is a happy break from the trashy tourist restaurants a couple of blocks away. A stylish place, warmly recommended.
