Portofino - Nordrhein-Westfalen

After a concert we went to Portofino on Good Friday night, 4 people. The table was preordered and we were kindly received, even had the choice between two reserved tables. The facility is cozy Italian, foursome, slightly narrow. The service was very friendly, there were recommendations for wine, also Dessert was offered. The competence of the service was clearly noticeable in the consultation. The drinks and the appetizers were delivered quickly, the main dishes should have come a bit faster, especially because the restaurant was not exhausted. The menu was appealing, not too extensive and contains something from small to extensive food for all, including Vegetaria. We ate cream cocktail, which has excellent taste, freshened and does not taste the traditional sauce. We also ate beef fillet steak, excellent, and homemade spinach panerotti, also very tasty. Cleanliness had nothing to do with it. In the price-performance area, the dishes are worth their money, the price segment is in a somewhat higher category. Finally, we could go back.

Beautiful atmosphere and decor. some waiters were polite and friendly, while others looked like they just wanted to go home. my pizza was very tasty, but the lasagne was cold and when she took it back, it was about 15 minutes away. they didn't apologize, but at the end they gave free coffee what was. reasonable prices for delicious food.

We have a table without reservation on a Saturday night. we stood half an hour before the table at the bar. the eating and the weeping were appropriate. an OK restaurant, but because the guests come all the time, wait for one. table, everyone seemed stressed. but all in all, portofino can be recommended.

The fish was tasty, seemed combed. we were a big group and had to wait literally 1 hour and ten minutes for our food. had not even received an apology.

If they like to eat Italian and travel to düsseldorf, then ristorante portofino is a very good option to taste Italian high quality food in a very beautiful environment and to pay good price. I tried spaghetti with tomato sauce with Italian wine and enjoyed eating. they will also enjoy Italian friendly staff with wonderful advice to choose their food. the location of the restaurant is great, in the city, less than 5 minutes to walk to the shopping center. I'll go back to the restaurant when I'm in düsseldorf.
