La Perouse Restaurant - NORFOLK ISLAND

So thought I'd try the onsite restaurant for dinner, unfortunately it was not as I'd expected, Scotch fillet, medium rare is what I ordered, came out pretty much well done, not really sure how you can cook a 1 am steak to medium rare, and they weren't either. Breakfast was good though and catering for function during the day was ok.

The restaurant was a bit quiet the night we went, but the service was excellent and the food was great.

Amazing place to eat the food was delicious and the staff were friendly to cater for your every need. The food was also quick to be served.

Had dinner here on our second night at Norfolk. I had the potato & bacon soup, wasn't quite what I had pictured however it tasted very very nice. I had trumpeter as a main, (I was a little worried as I had tried Barramundi once in Melbourne and it was disgusting) anyway I was assured that Trumpeter would be a lovely fish to try, and it was! It was moist and the taste was very nice indeed. For desert I had the meringue, I was in heaven!!! Great service, great meal and cost the same as the disgusting meal we'd had the night before at Barney Duffeys. Great Job!

The Staff were always so friendly and courteous. Good range of wines and other drinks. Food well presented and tasty. Breakfast buffet was good value.
