Two Chimneys Vineyard - NORFOLK ISLAND

I found this restaurant while exploring the island, and was impressed by the beautiful gardens and charming verandah. We tried a few wines and ended up buying a bottle of both red and white.

This was one of the top tours on the Island. The owners were very accommodating and the wines were excellent. The lunch that was included was delicious and beautifully presented.

I checked the restaurant's website for their opening times, but unfortunately they were closed when we arrived. After sending a quick email asking when would be the best time to visit, I received a response stating that they are currently closed. I am unsure if this is temporary, so I would recommend calling ahead or checking before showing up in person.

We visited here just recently on our honeymoon. I may have purchased a little too much to bring back to Australia but the quality was worth it. The wine was delicious and the place quite quaint. I'm not sure if there is a food menu but I think a cheese platter to go with the wine tasting would make for a perfect afternoon sitting on the wrap around balcony enjoying the wines and the sunshine. Definitely worth a visit.

We were on a scenic tour and this was one of our choices. The wife was away but the 2 men managed professionally and gave great descriptions of the wines on offer. The food accompanying the wine tasting was gourmet and very pleasant. Well done gentlemen! The wines are quite expensive but most enjoyable.
