Carolina Cupcakery - Norfolk

These cupcakes are exactly what I think when I think about cupcakes: a perfect cake for frost ratio; moist, tasteful cake; and perfectly sweet, creamy frosting. I bake vegan cupcakes and have tasted various other vegan cupcakes from bakeries around the land, no one comes close to these - not even mine. Therefore, when I visit norfolk, I will get a cupcake at carolina! Note: sometimes the put on are a bit slow but give them a minute. they are nice people.

If they're bad, they're bad. I had some delicious vegan cupcakes there, but I also had some bad too often. They just let them out for too long and they get everything dry and rough. They usually have a few different vegans, but they are not always fresh. Not worth the calories or money to risk it.

It is a cupcake shop with a small selection of vegan offers. They're fucked in a cooler in the corner. On top these are large cupcakes, not the standard size, so your $4.50 goes a long way. The vanilla bean I had, though... It was gummy and tasted overwhelmingly of citrus. Thank you, but I'll stay with those from my oven.
