Chrysler Museum Of Art - Norfolk

Best place to view art from many different eras. Lovely atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff. You could spend hours here, or browse by gallery over several visits.

Spent the morning here with my family. They have lots of exhibits. We specifically went for the glass; it was beautiful. If you have time check it out. Keep an eye on your children but they have and interactive area foe them so anyone can have a good time.

We took my daughter here while visiting the area and had a wonderful time. The exhibits are filled with so many lovely things to look at, and the information placards were informative and easy to access from y wheelchair.The staff were also so very kind about helping me with the wheelchair access. It was a great accessibility experience. One exhibit was a little tight on space, but for the most part, the rooms were very accessible and offered plenty of room for maneuverability. Multiple times the staff checked in with us and asked if we needed help.

What a hidden gem in Norfolk! The glass collection is extensive and it was also very educational. Often, items are on display but there's very little information regarding the items. Not the case here! The entire museum does a great job of informing and educating. We spent 3 hrs. There's also a restaurant and a store. Best of all it's free and donations are accepted.

Great exhibitions of art from different parts of the world. Admission is free, staff does great job maintaining this place and keeping it clean.
