The espresso lasted a little burnt. I got a caramel latte but there is never any caramel flavor. I avoid this coffee shop now. I did have a decent pumpkin chocolate chip muffin.
So much space for children and dogs, and meetings and gatherings! So chill and quaint.I’ve recently heard someone ask where to get an Australian coffee. I learned this is basically an espresso Ice cream float!Nitro Affogatto is on the menu at COVA.The barista told me this is also espresso poured over ice cream and I really enjoyed it.Its creamy, not sweet.Check out COVA if you’re in East Beach, its a nice little walk. <3
Overall:Cool place with a unique setup.Dranks:The pour your own system takes a bit of getting used to, but it's really neat because it allows you to sample and choose something you really like instead of picking something you aren't sure what it tastes like.My favorite beer was the Aloha State of Mind. It was very good and a portion of the proceeds (they didn't specify how much) goes to help with the wildfires in Hawaii. They also have a coffee bar, but I can't speak on it because I only had the beers this time!Food:They have food trucks that aren't always the same, the ones they had when we were there were Nacho Libre and another Asian style. Neither of them looked appetizing to me personally, but our friends seemed to enjoy what they got.Parking and seating:There was plenty of outdoor seating, parking is a challenge as the lot at Cova is small and they tell you not to park in the shopping center lot because you'll get towed.
Excellent beer. Love the IPA.And the with the chance to self-pour the beer that you want. The spot is fantastic, where you can haver some food but with a short parking lot.
