El Rey 2 - Norfolk

When the waiter brought my order to the table, I initially thought he was serving me a loaf of bread because the burrito was absolutely gigantic! It smelled divine and tasted even better than it looked. The pork was grilled to perfection, and the ingredients were well-balanced. The waiter was friendly and even apologized for the 'wait,' despite the fact that the food arrived in a relatively short time. The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and cozy. It felt like a charming café you'd find in Mexico, with just the right amount of character to make you feel like you were dining in a small café south of the border. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and look forward to visiting again.

This is such a delightful spot! The food was amazing; I ordered the shredded beef and chicken tacos, and they were fantastic. The staff was very friendly and made sure to check in on us regularly. The selection of beer and margaritas was excellent. Overall, it had a great atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service.

The best Mexican in norfolk the barbacoa tacos are awesome its a hidden gem for sure and will definitely be back and cannot recommend enough.

El Rey #2 is the best place to eat when you're in the mood for TexMex! They serve most plates with both rice beans which no other place has! Their barbacoa de cabeza plate carne guisada plates are just like Texas! Off the chain!!! Love this place! And they have Big Red soda
