Fmc Garden Cafe - Norfolk

This was probably one of the best dining experiences I've had since moving to Virginia. Don't let the location deter you. The service is exceptional, and the chef/owner even came out to check on us! They have a unique and delicious twist on fried pickles, an incredible hot brown with amazing beef, a perfectly cooked chicken cordon bleu, and some of the best mac and cheese I've ever tasted. Most of the menu features locally sourced ingredients, and they just obtained their beer and wine license, which will also include local options. Without a doubt, we will be returning soon.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant, thanks to the outstanding service and inviting atmosphere. Our server, Mya, was exceptional and really went the extra mile. The food was perfectly prepared, making me feel like I was enjoying a meal straight out of a commercial. Mya was very knowledgeable about vegan options and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. I can honestly say that the Range Free burger is the best burger I've ever tasted.

FMC is definitely one of the best "hidden gem" spots I've discovered since moving to Norfolk in 2013. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Full Metal Cafe is a must-visit when you're in Norfolk!

This place is a hidden gem! We almost didn't go in because it looks like a little hole in the wall kind of place. I'm so glad we did! The food is excellent, service is friendly and personal. We're already planning our next visit! If you're in Norfolk, give it a try!

Every time we go to the Norfolk we hit this place up to eat. We've not been disappointed. Ate there this Saturday I had the steak, mixed vegetables and salad, wife had chicken cordon bleu and same sides, great for our Keto diet. My daughter had a burger and Mac and cheese; everything was great. Love their beer on tap... Living in NN we can't go as often as we'd like to, but when we do we enjoy the food.
