Golden China - Norfolk

By far an awesome choice to grab some Chinese food. Great quality, great staff, Fast service, clean kitchen, etc. Two thumbs way up to this place. If your in Norfolk there are two Chinese spots I highly recommend, this one and Kins Wok on 21st street in Ghent.

This is our go to spot for Chinese food. My husband order sushi and the flavor was wonderful. You can normally taste when food was made fresh and when it is sitting on the counter. It was so good, i didnt get a chance to take a picture. You can taste the difference from other chinese food restaurants and their food.

What's up with keeping the dining room closed? It's really cool in there with a fish tank and ornate wood furnishings and a sushi bar. It's a real cool space. I know COVID shut it down but I think you should consider opening it up again. It's just not satisfying to order sushi from a to go box.

Deliscious and quiet atmosphere in the daytime. Fancy american style rolls are great. I have yet to try the plain more traditional rolls. We are afflicted by allergies in our family so im not sure how well they do with special requests but as long as you read the descriptions and let them know you should be fine. Their pickled ginger is the plain blond type that does not have artificial sweeteners and its so refreshing to have a good palate cleanser that does not have an aspartame aftertaste. 10/10 would reccomend.
